Another tme alignment question

#1 Post by J_Dunavin »

Had anyone come up with a chart for time alignment for the Tubas and Titans?
I know that there are a lot of variables, but I'm looking for what the bass line should be. ( ha get it, bass, base :? ya ok)
Anyway it would be nice to say if you have a T24 you need to set in X ms of delay as a starting point.
2 - OTop8
2 - T39
8 - DR200
2 - DR250
9 - T24
6 - T45

So if my dr's are in roughly the same plane as my T24's, how much delay should i dial in on the dr's?

Doing some quick math on the plans, it looks like the horn path is around 8 feet. So, you can add 7-9ms if you want. Doubt that you'll actually hear any difference.

Now, delaying the subs and the mains to match up with the backline will be much more noticeable.

6 - T39 3012LF
4 - OT12 2512
1 - T24
1 - SLA Pro
2 - XF210

From which you have to deduct the DR path length. The result is inaudible.
