For a ported 212 with no tweeters to be used for bass is putting foam on the back and bottom interior sufficient or is there any benefit to doing a side as well or even foam the whole interior?
Thank you.

Damping may also be used to line the cab top, bottom and sides. It’s a chore to work around the braces, and the improvement in sound won’t be major, but if you want the best result possible do so.

Thank you. I saw that but was just curious if anyone else had an opinion or anything to add.

Well, the guy who created the design, then wrote the plans, quoted the plans.
My opinion would be to follow the plans!
