Simplexx 1 x 15 Top for PA?

#1 Post by djlivex » Sat Sep 22, 2018 2:30 pm

I'm reading the plans a third time now and I don't know what the square hole is on the side? Is says for ported it is lower cutout and foe sealed it's higher. Is this where the metal handle will go on? And has no measurements as in the size of the hole? Thanks guys sorry for the confusion. :?:

Look at your sketchup model.

The square hole is for the side handles if you are going to have them. In the drawings, it shows how far away from the top and back the hole should be. The size of the hole depends on the size of the handle.

Correct just like in the pictures of the main site. It has to be small and light metal handle. As I plan to use all neo drivers and use an 18 Sound XT 1086 1" horn since I already have 2 new sitting around I bought 2 years ago. And plans call for a passive 1.2kHz crossover point. Definitely using subs with these for playback music its going to be a busy season for me. I am already being booked for Valentines Disco Party in Feb 2019. Although bigger width wise but I like the slim depth. :|
