Outdoor Band - OT12 / T39

#1 Post by kkip »

Finally got around to posting this video. This was an outdoor gig about a month ago. We used a pair of OT12s and a pair of T-39s v-plated. The amp rack includes a DEQ-2496, DCX-2496 and a pair of Peavey IPR1600s. The console was an A&H GL2400.

4 x T39 - 20" - 3012LF (Built 2)
4 x OT12 - 2512 - Melded/D220Ti
1 x TAT - GTO804

Excellent. Now double that and create sound nirvana.

Vocals are so clear.....I still say it's the best vocal box I've heard. If DRs are better, then they must really be something!

6 - T39 3012LF
4 - OT12 2512
1 - T24
1 - SLA Pro
2 - XF210

Would love to...but somehow I think I would find myself and my new rig sleeping in the dog house :D

Do it slow....wait a couple months and start the second set of OT12s.....then next year, more subs. Then the next year.....whatever you need.

There's a point where they just roll their eyes and don't want to know how much it costs.....

Of course....they do get it back.....we're going to cruise Hawaii in November. I kept my mouth shut and said, "Yes ma'am."

Was this the gig where you asked questions about placement, kkip - I think it looks like the previous pics you posted.

Just got a new dBx EQ and I said I was shopping for a new audio interface... We are going to Jamaica in November.

I'm sensing a pattern here.....you don't think there might be a Wives of BFM Forum, do you?

Now I am spooked. I just built some SLA Pros -- and we are going to Antigua in November. Life could be worse than speakers and tropical vacations.
2 THTs, 2 TLAH, SLA curved, 1 8-AT, 1 AT JBL 1002D, 4 Otop12s, Jack 12, TT with Eminence 10", 2 SLAs, 1 T30 slim, 2 T30s (2-10" each), SLA Pros, TrT.

escapemcp, yes this is the same gig. As you can see, I ended up placing the subs at the front of the stage. I think it worked okay!
