Hi Bassmonster,
Thanks
I think ever since I have finished my builds, I have been busy pulling together everything for the Business. But, drop in often to view the new post. Lots going on.

Re: MMHS Dance
Watched your other vid with the laser.. Thing is awesome, but be careful using it in public because I know a local laser guy just had to spend a couple grand showing that his lasers were legal. I love lasers, but the feds are cracking down on them pretty hard lately.
Why can I never make up my mind?

Just keep them pointed at the ceiling out of eye line, should be ok
Re: MMHS Dance
I was assuming he knew that, but you have to have a license for anything over 5mW in a public location IIRC. And that is regardless of how you place them.technicaldave wrote:Just keep them pointed at the ceiling out of eye line, should be ok

But, we are in the USA, and technicaldave is in the UK. Different laws, rules and rights.Whiterob wrote:I was assuming he knew that, but you have to have a license for anything over 5mW in a public location IIRC. Yeh seems the regs are different. We have ridiculous amounts of health and safety legislation though, so even though you don't need a licence , you're still supposed to limit output in smokeless areas, put signs up around the place, reduce the intensity if there's people influenced from alcohol, use a fat beam or cluster if you can , have it 3m over heads etc.
