My meter won't go high enough to measure this unfortunately. The meter just flashes 'over' when it gets above aboit 127dB.

Specs on the T60? As in how wide / is this a 12/15 loaded? Corner? How far was the mic from the sub? What's the max output you can get at 25 Hz? I'm sure that would be fun to try.

+1 but not at exactly 100m.ben.in.salzburg wrote:Try stepping back 100m and repeating

You lose 6db for each doubling of distance, so you can use that to calculate your loss due to distance and arrive at a total at 1 metre.
So, your mike would be at 1, 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, 64, 128m etc
And your reading would be + 0, 6, 12, 18, 24, 30, 36 (etc) dB on what you see on your SPL meter and the corresponding distance.
Hope this helps...
Built:
DR 250: x 2 melded array, 2x CD horn, March 2012 plans.
T39's: 4 x 20" KL3010LF , 2 x 28" 3012LF.
WH8: x 6 with melded array wired series/parallel.
Bunter's Audio and Lighting "like"s would be most appreciated...
