Thanks...it was shot with a Canon 7D with 28-135mm lens. I'm a novice with it, though. That's why its blurry from time to time and I had to cut some things out.

Saw them live a bit in the 80's.
No one seems to have done a good job of filling Michael Hutchence's shoes...

...and nobody ever will.

I never got to see them live, I was too young. I had to make do with my sister blasting the music in rotation with a fair few other 80s bands. I blame her for a fair chunk of my taste in music.

Here we go again with yet another video. This time we revisit the Accord in the cover of darkness.

This is strictly a test video that I'll share exclusively here with the forum (ie. private), because the audio is AAC through .mp4, unedited, and not to mention I sound like Darth Vader breathing in the background.

Mainly I wanted to gain some insight of the Galaxy S4's audio capabilities. Its microphone is definitely high passed, but I'm uncertain at what freq.

This was my first ever youtube upload using a cellphone as a recording device...Suffice to say, at 128 Kbps lossy, it won't be replacing my GL-1 anytime soon. :|

I also took the opportunity to capture on film a tip I got from Drey a while back about muting the rear deck speakers in order to clean up some the bass. I did that and also dropped down the rear seat. I feel it's a definite improvement when you compare this to video #2. :D Thanks bro!

There are parts where I turn the volume up, but I stop because the windshield sun shade and review mirror start buzzing profusely.

There are a total of 5 songs, all from their respective CDs (in order) with no fancy editing involved:

1. Daft Punk - Short Circuit
2. Ferrer & Sydenham Inc. - Timbuktu (Âme main mix)
3. Jolene - The DJ (Alix Alvarez SOLE Channel Remix)
4. Anita Ward - Ring My Bell
5. Lipps Inc - Funky Town

Head unit is a Panasonic CQ-C9901U (Tripath) with the door speakers high-passed at 110 hz and a little EQ to tame the tweeters.

The subwoofer amp is a Boss DD2600 with the low-pass at ~55 Hz and the subsonic at 25 Hz.

:!: Use 720p for the better audio quality.

Sounds pretty good! The only sample that I didn't like too much was the "Ring My Bell" because of "crispness".
My youngest son has an S3, and I found it added a little too much crispness. But other than that the SQ is quite reasonable.

'Evening Tom...I agree with you there.

I'm surprised it turned out as well as it did. :broke:

Dropping the seat and muting the rears definitely has it sounding more like your old ride used to. :D

You're a hell of a guy for even mentioning it. Excellent recording! The panasonic head you're using looks like great stuff. Come by the studio sometime we're hooking up a 2014 GTR :chainsaw:

Another one... An example of the bass cutting through road noise.

Nice!!! You have that AT working real well! Good SQ, all around.

BTW, your vid reminds me of Picture Rocks Road. Have you travelled it yet? I did, from N Sandaro RD on over to #10, driving U-Hauls biggest truck and biggest trailer. It's nice scenery.
