All good now. You have a better than average mic on your phone/camera. It doesn't distort until you are right inside the car. Much better than most subwoofer vids on youtube.

Sounds good, Radian. Very little mic distortion as well.

Thanks guys! The low distortion is from using a system wide approach to minimize it at every opportunity. :cowboy:

I left the bit of severe mic over run there at the beginning of the video so that people listening on strictly laptop or smartphone speakers can still pick out what the sub is doing, if only for just a bit. I could've done another take, but it was seriously that loud  , and I really wanted to convey that at that moment.

The kick drum in the first song that bottoms the mic has a fundamental at 22 Hz with a stronger (+3dB) 2nd harmonic at 44Hz.
The last time my mic crackled hard like that, I was filming jets taking off at an airshow.

The deep bass line in the last song drops a very pronounced 35 Hz.

That's a great mic, then! Kudos.

Wow, what a clean sounding video, gotta be the best video I've seen of a BFM sub that doesn't destroy the microphone. Very nice.

Keep in mind if you're listening on a laptop you're not hearing the sub unless you're using decent phones.

True dat. And that's why I only use headphones for listening. (Another reason is that I don't want to bother anyone else)
