But putting in the wires and tscrews for the wheels had been easier without the last side panel on :)

finaly started on number two :)

the experiences from the first buld helps a lot and makes things go together a lot faster without getting glue everywhere. Just have to wait on the panels to dry and continue tomorrow if time permits.

A question because I'm not sure if I'm seeing things right but in the last image, the panel marked P5, does it have a rectangular hole in it?

Probably has two rectangular holes in it. That's used with drivers other than the Lab12....or any driver with FS above 35hz. I can't tell what driver that is, but it doesn't look like a Lab 12.

6 - T39 3012LF
4 - OT12 2512
1 - T24
1 - SLA Pro
2 - XF210

It has a hole, the driver is a eighteensound nlw9300 http://www.eighteensound.com/en/product ... /12NLW9300

So rather light compared to a lab 12

Gotcha, I've never put anything other than a Lab12 in a sub so I wasn't aware of any differences in the plans!

I saw that hole in the pic too.....after you posted, I went and looked at the plans. Not sure why people want to use the Lab when the 3012LF is so much lighter and the same price....and the output is essentially the same. Just like to get in some extra weightlifting?

They weren't always the same price.

I thought the Lab had about 5dB more sensitivity at the high pass freq. If true, seems worth the extra weight for someone that plans to use it that low regularly. If untrue... hey look, it's the Goodyear Blimp
Build in process - 2 WH6, one Alpha 6a loaded, one PRV Audio 6MB250-NDY loaded

Two 2x6 shorty SLA Pro's
One T39, 16", 3012LF loaded
Tall AutoTuba, 20" wide, 2x 8" MCM 55-2421
TruckTuba, 8½" wide, 2x 8" MCM 55-2421

Somewhere, IIRC, Bill says the T30 and the T45 response are essentially identical, and it's the design that dictates response, not the driver.
There is one lab12 chart in which it appears it has greater output, but time and time again, Bill has responded that it is because of different impedance, so 1W/1m is skewed compared to the 3012lf.

Because of it's impedance, the lab12 wins by 1 maybe 2 dB in output.

3012lf is king...
Built:
DR 250: x 2 melded array, 2x CD horn, March 2012 plans.
T39's: 4 x 20" KL3010LF , 2 x 28" 3012LF.
WH8: x 6 with melded array wired series/parallel.
Bunter's Audio and Lighting "like"s would be most appreciated...

3012lf Vd = 496 cc
Lab12 Vd = 659 cc

At least 2 db's, probably closer to 2.3
Built:
17" width 10" driver Autotuba
2 x 29" width dual Lab12 Tuba60
6 x DR250 2510/asd1001
In progress:
2 x DR250 2510/asd1001
For best results, point the loud end of the array towards the audience

When I bought the Lab12s back in 2011 the 3012s were at least another 50% on top in the UK. Now both are the same money here (give or take like £3) so it doesn't make real sense to buy the heavier Lab.
