Ok, I have the plans in front of me. No help in telling me how to position the flat tweeter array. I need a picture. Does anyone have a picture?
I have gone to the 3D program and it DOES NOT WORK on my Computer.
Please, Please, humor me and send me or post a picture of a Jack 12 with a flat array.

You have a picture, on page 16 of your plans. Yours is the first report I've seen in 14 years and tens of thousands of users of sketchup not working.

Here is a picture of an OmniTop12 that has a flat array. The flat array will look similar for the Jack12.

Tom,
Thanks for the picture. I’ll put mine together in the same fashion.

Well at long last I got the Jack 12 built. On top is a Tech 12 RBI rackmount interface and a Crown 1602 power amp. For not being broken in.. the speaker sounds really good. The whole rig sounds really good.
Only problem I have is volume. I am running the power amp (single channel) on 75% to get sufficient volume in the studio. Not sure what will happen at a Jam or Gig.
I already double checked all of my wiring with a multi-meter. Everything is flowing like it should. NO, I don’t remember the numbers but at the time I had a cheat sheet and they were all good.
Anyone else have such a problem?

BTW: the cab is really tight. Everything is packed in and sealed twice. I put the hi/low pass thru on the inside wall of the cab. Mounted it per instructions and wired it the same way.
Nice looking cab..

Correction.. it is a Tech 21 RBI NYC Rackmount interface. Got it from Reverb.com. Good service and price.

The RBI has a switchable output level and the crown 1502 has a switchable input sensitivity on the menu. Perhaps either one or the other or both is limiting the signal going to the amp.
Built:
17" width 10" driver Autotuba
2 x 29" width dual Lab12 Tuba60
6 x DR250 2510/asd1001
In progress:
2 x DR250 2510/asd1001
For best results, point the loud end of the array towards the audience

I think it was my perception. What is different from this cab vs. my 210 David Eden combo is that the sound is dispersed all over the room. The comment from the other players was that they could hear the bass plainly for all positions in the room. even the drummer who is virtually behind the cab.. This I thought weird but sitting in his chair with the bass, I could hear it very well. This cab is different from any I have played through before. As the speaker breaks in, the sound is improving nicely.
thank you for the info and thank you BF for creating such a great cabinet.

Been there done that :wall: RTFP again and again. Just keep going one step at a time.
