except to go back and try to get closer with circular saw, and finish it off with the belt sander.

That's what I would do, screw or brad nail a guide board right to the cabinet with your circular saw at 45 degrees and the blade not too deep to score the angled piece. Do the same for the sides at 90 degrees. Then fill the holes you made in the cabinet with PL or bondo. If you get close enough I'd use a random orbital with 50 or lower grit rather than a belt sander. Belt sanders are just asking for trouble as they have the precision of a chain saw.

Question
I believe I have a small leak in one of em, I THINK I can gear a wistle in the horn mouth when I stick my head in there.
Door checks ok. Woofer seal is good, jack plate is good.
I'm going to lay a thick line down the far corner of the inside of the woofer area , I already made another pass around the other panels on the inside.
Thing is, you can still hear it without the access cover on. It's so faint though I can't tell if it's really there or if I'm crazy... Will have another listen tonight.

Here are all 6 45s in the corner. Four on one amp and two on the other amp.
It's difficult to put into words how amazing these sound.
The extra low freq response ( vs my four T24s) is unreal! I've been to other DJs, dances and events around here. NO ONE else has anything close to this, except for the large rig guys. The guys doing live shows / stage / fair stuff.
I was doing sound checks and setup, and I kept hearing this buzzing sound. I was thinking the worst and feared that something was wrong..... nope, I was rattling the metal roof and celling structure



Here's all six DR200s, which also sounded aaaaaaawesome. It really is something, I thought two per side was great, but the 3rd one per side really helped in terms of distance you could hear the music, clarity, and overall system volume.


Here you can see my DIY flood lights lighting up the background. Cellphone picts don't cut it, but the kids were having a blast. They were screaming out the lyrics to every song! It was sooo loud!
Overall system performance, was clean, crisp, no distortion, no clip lights, not hitting the limiters, and like the home page says... The bass was tactful, I dunno hard to describe. No spl meter, sorry.

I measured my rig with a kill-a-watt meter (4 dr250's and 2 dual tuba 60's) and it measured 800 watts at full volume using class D amplifiers (with DJ equipment). From that I would guess at full volume hitting limiters you would draw about 1200 watts or 12 amps if you are using class D amps.

Thanks for the gig report, there is nothing like a DR/Tuba rig. Nothing in our city can touch it.

I measured my rig with a kill-a-watt meter (4 dr250's and 2 dual tuba 60's) and it measured 800 watts at full volume using class D amplifiers (with DJ equipment). From that I would guess at full volume hitting limiters you would draw about 1200 watts or 12 amps if you are using class D amps. That really is the beauty of these rigs. Find yourself 1 open circuit and your good to go. You would need 2 or 3 circuits to power a direct radiating rig to those volumes.

Oh that's the other to thing, even though I set up all the gain structure and voltage limit. I never came close on the Vu meters. It was so crazy loud as it was, there was no need to go full afterburner... Except for a song or two. I did push it ( all within safe, limits, with limiters on ) still never reached full output.
I'm itching to set it up outside now, see what this rig can do.
Could I have done anything better here with the setup? Maybe I should of pushed the DRs up against the wall? Closer together?

As a side question I'm trying to get some more paid gigs with this. In the past most of my work has been volunteer work for our youth group.
Any out of the norm suggestions to put these guys to work?
I thought about renting it / myself as an audio guy with system for other local DJs but maybe I just want to keep things to myself.. make my name associated with the rig?

I would LOVE to hear your six T45's and DR's man...that is awesome! It's unbelievable what those will do when they're fed the content. I get the rare chance this weekend to possibly use my four T30's at a large indoor venue for a wedding. Most of my indoor venues are smaller so just use the two narrow ones or even one 18 for very small. Only outdoors do I break out all four. I have a little bit of a demonstration to make to some friends of mine who are concerned that my rig not enough and I don't have enough watts, LMAO. In fact, I may just use the two wide ones, just to show what even two will do. I've used just those two in a big room before and it was thunderous in a very appealing way. I'm looking forward to showing what a mere 600 watts into pairs of T30's can do.

I'm with ya, I rarely get a chance. Even whith my T24s to go all out.
It's hard to describe in words how amazing these are to those who haven't heard em before. Wish I could see your friends reaction when you demo your T30s.
The hair on the back of my neck stood up when I fired mine up... All those late nights, all the PL stains, saw dust in my eyes, nose , everywhere... All sooo worth it!
