Meanwhile been thinking up a colour scheme, what are your thoughts??

In my DR250 build thread (see sig) I originally had the same plans as you to go 2-tone paint. I ended up just using a single color and am glad I did. Looks WAY better (IMO) and WAY less work as I already had at least a hundred hours on paint for the 8 of them.
Take a look:

The speakers are lit up with a blue LED stage light, 1 each side for the tops, 2 on the subs. The video doesn't do the them justice, for some reason LED lighting doesn't translate well over video, they are a focal point of the room in person.

Just for interest sake, the whole point of the video was to demonstrate power shading where the bottom cab is at a lower volume than the top cab and the top cab has more top end (treble) than the bottom cab. From the back of the dance floor right up to a foot away from the stack the volume level and tone stays pretty much even.
Built:
17" width 10" driver Autotuba
2 x 29" width dual Lab12 Tuba60
6 x DR250 2510/asd1001
In progress:
2 x DR250 2510/asd1001
For best results, point the loud end of the array towards the audience

Hi sorry for the late reply, been busy on the build and keeping track of the day to day tasks..

Nice looking speakers you built there..

I will have to see how the time goes and will resort to single if needed, I do like the idea of two tone though..

Finally finished all the rough cutting! Phew..

All went smoothly and have managed to get the hang of plunge cuts too..

First joints have been made and todays allocated time has been spent cutting the baffles ready for assembly hopefully tomorrow.

I feel I may need to warn you all this project may never be completed!

Im pretty sure my girlfriend will murder me for turning our kitchen into this..

N.B. I survived this time as she came home late, but next time :chainsaw:

I'm still alive!

Just...

As the deadline of the party moves closer I am realising the OT12's are not going to be done :( They are now officially on hold until further notice.

Things on the T45 front have been coming along well though.

Here is some modern art I created along the way, the piece is called 'Life' and it represents the constraints of everyday life and also shows life's delicate balance and relience on the of small insignificant things such as a large green mug to put your tea in. :bull:

Then I'd suggest that you leave all of the screws in the cabinet.
