And the FINISH

The entire project started at 13th of May.
I worked on the cabs untill 16th of June.
I worked at weekends only but at least eight houres each day.

That was my first real woodworking project, I did not have any serious woodworking experience before.
I learned a lot during this jurney about woodworking and my nex cabs would be ready much faster.

I was confused a couple of times due to my week english knowledge. I needed more time sometimes, to get real understanding about the next step. Many posts and mainly pictures here, helped me a lot also.

But if I take into consideration all the thinks, like lack of experience and language issue, Bill's plan must be EXCELLENT! It simply WORKS.

Speakers are wery clear and wery loud and wery light as well.

Very nice build and finish!

The dowel in your CD horn doesn't look like it is wide enough (in diameter).
You should replace it with the right diameter dowel.
The purpose of that rod is to make it a diffraction rod, to increase horizontal dispersion...

Nice work. It's fairly obvious that you have a good feel at working with the wood. Well done.

Thank you Grant!

You have right. My calculation was wrong. I was (maybe) too tired and finished it after splitted 5/8 (0,6) so I used 6 mm dowel.
I simply forgot to mutiply it with one inch (5/8 times 25,4 = 15,87mm).

So in this case I can expect even wider dispersion? It is great news.

Thanks again!

Final pictures with proper size dowel. :)

I have been using this cabs for one and half years. Clear and very nice sound, good feedbacks from audience.
Very easy to carry, even these are not light versions!

OT12s are hunger for four T39 at least. :)
Unfortunately the most of the time there is not enough place to use more than one T39 in the venue where we play.

I guess my next project is Jack.

Excellent design!

THX ACUA!

Honestly the secret of the success is the solid design and the easy to follow plan.
Even tho I had to recalculate everything to IS. :)
