Re: Another Australian T39 build
Sooo jealous right now! Beautiful looking build grant. I wish I could have 4 T39's!
I had the same problem as you with the panel warping... I didn't cut a new side though I pulled it in glued it up and added bondo until it was square - so much sanding.
This festival in 5 weeks? Can you elaborate, I'd love to hear 4 T39s.
Again - beautiful build

Re: Another Australian T39 build
Cheers TH
The festival is the Batlow Apple Blossom Festival. 20th Oct. 16 days
I'm not ready but the last couple of days has seen massive inroads...
Not only will I be doing sound, but I was also asked to line up the live entertainment.
It's been a rather busy period lol.
You know what muso's are like, well if you don't, one got a better offer about a fortnight ago and told me a week later. Mad scramble but all sorted...

Re: Another Australian T39 build
V plates had been cut previously.
Finished them off this morning and installed 5/16" T nuts with epoxy.
I need to make sure I have enough Rockard to finish everything off.
So rattle tinned a primer coat.
I did 2 pairs with a V plate each to do 2 x 2, but here's the other way:

Do those plastic corners interlock with each other to prevent the cabinets from sliding around when stacked?
Looks Good!

Yes mate they do lock in. To each other, but not to the other pair beside them.
In the pic above the top pair of cabs are (what I call) Cab 1 and Cab 2.
I just put them on top and they seemed pretty firm.
Then wound in the screws through the V plate and they seem very solid.
I gave them a fair shove to see if they wanted to move, seems not.
I'll get a better idea tomorrow when I run everything up, as to vibration making things want to move.
And thanks

You've done well.
Catch up with the other Ossie going S.E. Asia? Might mail you some more Asia assembled deltalites.

Didn't get to war volume for more than 30 seconds, but was up over 120 dB for 30 minutes and nothing moved at all...Grant Bunter wrote:I'll get a better idea tomorrow when I run everything up, as to vibration making things want to move.byacey wrote:Do those plastic corners interlock with each other to prevent the cabinets from sliding around when stacked?

I run all night at full war volume and my stack of 4 have never moved. They are quite stable when stacked and v-plated.
