There are two cleats (3/4" x 1/2" x 10-3/4"), one at the top and one at the bottom. The grill is bent 3/4" on all sides so the bolts go through the cabinet edge, through the grill, through the cleat and right into the t-nut. I didn't want anything on the face to keep that clean look. All the pieces are black so it blends right in although the picture I posted didn't have them installed since I wanted to show a picture with the grill off.

I will post a picture of the mounting...soon!

Hi DanielNY, I lived in NY long Island for 22 years and DJ there for 7.5 years, can you post the pics on how it is mounted and where did you get all pieces on the front of the cab? I will be building these next as DJ monitors with subs, currently building T24's with dual BP-102's, Thanks!

Excuse the pics, not very sharp.

So I made some wood cleats and notched where the alpha6 needs to clear, and painted black. Then I attached them to the grill with epoxy (the pic with the clamps is holding the cleat in place while the epoxy cures). Then I drilled through matching sets of holes in the grill to add the t-nuts with some more epoxy to secure the nuts.

Then I aligned the grill to the upper and lower lip to drill holes for the bolt to pass through. After adding the grill I decided to install a support bracket for the grill right between the middle woofers. Will take a pic and post later tonight.

Hope this helps.

Here is the final picture of the bolt that goes through the top and bolts into the t-nut/cleat behind the grill.

There is a vendor with the moniker D2F for Designed to Fit. I have a cover for an amp from them. Good stuff. I highly recommend

My SLA Pros are currently still stuck inside a sheet of plywood in the corner of my garage, but I really, really like what you did here. Would you be offended if I take a cue from that?

I also really like Drey's sloped braces, so if you're reading this, that goes for you too.
