Horn question

Hello all.
On the DR/Omni/Jack tops, does the tweeter insert (piezo or CD horn) act as part of the horn for the woofer or is it just “in the way”?

Another basic horn question. It’s what i do.

No, I do not think it does. Although, someone else will likely have a scientific answer for you. My explanation would be more anecdotal.

It's neither, the dimensions are too small. The output of the low frequency horn simply goes around the high frequency horn.
