another grill question

Anyone ever use something like this on the edges of your metal grill material?

I'm not quite there yet, but am thinking about the install on the j-arrays I'm building. I plan to make the straight front grills (at least I think), so making a little lip on the top and bottom isn't a problem. But figuring out exactly how to finish the sides where the horn sheaths round out is making me wonder. I thought maybe this edge trim would look nice, hide the rough edge, and let me screw it right to the sheath. My grill material has big holes that are offset, so when I cut it, it will not have a straight line of material.

I used it on my car A/C radiator grille, the lower one shown here:

I did it for the same reason, so there wouldn't be any jagged edges.
