Otopi jarray baffle and spacer question

Any reason not to glue the spacer to the baffle prior to installing the baffle in the box? I'm not going to be putting mesh between the two.

Done, thanks. Built a little jig to slice off the top and bottom at 4 degrees, spaced off the windows in the baffles.Worked pretty well.

The reason it's installed after the sheaths is so it doesn't get in the way of clamps during the sheath installation.

Thanks Bill. I actually didn't cut the corners off the spacers. I wanted the extra thickness for gluing along the entire baffle top/bottom, as well as for the stiffening braces that attach from the sides out to the top and bottom. The triangle cutouts don't look quite this pretty, but they were just to reduce weight. I stacked all four spacers and then simply cut three holes with a paddle bit for each triangle. Then used a jigsaw to finish them up. I have tons of scrap to make the little braces so didn't need the corner cutoffs. So far, so good...
