another x-ver question

#1 Post by himhimself » Tue Sep 11, 2018 10:00 am

I was sketching up some ways to build my crossovers, and got myself a bit confused. In the attached sketches, are these all equivalent? It would seem to me yes, but that ultimately means the cap and coil position in relation to each other is irrelevant (circled in red). Is that really right? I have some little terminal blocks I was thinking to use based on a post I saw here on the forum, and that's what got me sketching and thinking - and perhaps having sketchy thoughts... essentially the positive leads from both the coil and cap get inserted into a terminal together, same with the negative leads (kind of like the middle sketch).
thanks for you help.
