Dumb quesiton on the Xf cabs...

#1 Post by Bbr6704 » Mon Jan 21, 2019 4:12 pm

Hi there, I'm building a XF210 cab, and have a question to where I'm at : cutting the baffles.

On the plans it's said : "Trim the length of the cutoffs ; they do not meet each other at the cabient corners".

I can trim them, no problem, but would like to know before if there's a particular reason to do so, just to fully understand what i'm doing...

Thanks for your replies, i'll post pics in the building thread soon.

Cheers.

They don't extend all the way because they don't need to, and it's easier if you don't try to precisely cut them to length to make them meet.

Ok, I'll go to bed (it's time to here in France) with more knowledge. Thanks!
