And thanks for your post Harley. I ignored the other vids as I was drained of enthusiasm for expanding my aural horizons. That one should get reposted in the education section under "What is system headroom? / what you miss with too much compression".

Indeed, +1. I was thinking the exact same thing.

Unfortunately, if it doesn't sound over compressed, it doesn't sell.
A pity.
My biggest worry is that when I'm dead and gone, my wife will sell my toys for what I said I paid for them.
