I wish they had that guy for mixing, miking, eqing etc...

It's supposedly the first in a series that they'll be periodically producing over there. I skipped all the device and plugin comparisons, but the rest was good knowledge and advice for live or studio work.

No, I didn't skip anything. They kind of lost me in the more advanced compressing.
I just need the basics (which I got) for stage. Just what it does and how to operate.

Sucks, cause I just sold one cause I did not know how to operate it.

Bummer, bad call though. Plenty of info on compressors available on the net. Figure out how to use a piece of audio gear and when to use it before deciding you don't need it. Lesson learned.
