voltage limit chart

#1 Post by bmf »

Just a late night random thought.

This may already exist somewhere.
I was thinking that a comprehensive chart of all the designs with voltage limit listings for the different recommended drivers would be a great tool. It could be made a sticky for quick access and be updated as new applicable drivers become available. I'm sure all the information is out there and would just need someone in possession of it to compile it and make it available.

I found one, that I got from the forum, on my CPU but cannot find it on the forum. Unfortunately, it is a PDF of which I cannot upload.

Can you upload it to dropbox or google drive and post a link?
Not that I have any great need for it at the moment, but it would be nice to see for future consideration, and I'm sure others would find it helpful as well.

Can you screen shot the PDF and post it as an image file?
May not be updatable but it would post the current information up to the age of the chart you have.
Someone may be able to use this with any new information to create a master chart.

I tried but I haven't success yet. Tried renaming the screen shot to .png, .jpeg, .doc but no success. I'll try later. BTW, if any of the other forum members are reading, the file is named "BFM Driver Specs 02-22-2012"....but then again that might have been my renaming.

My memory must be remembering the wrong stuff :wall: I checked for what I had on my computer and it was actually a PDF of the different drivers used in BFM cabs and there specs (someone had compiled a list and shared it).

It's not accurate. The voltage limit is based on the driver thermal or mechanical limit, whichever is lower, and it's not going to be the same in every cabinet. That's why I never posted anything, because there are too many variables. Besides, since the limits are listed in each plan there's no need for a separate chart.

Bill,
I did not know the finer details. Nice to know. Thanks!

Should I delete this, so as to not add confusion or misguidance?

Regards
