A pair of THT's with the Dayton 15" drivers should take care of it if you're going to be watching movies.

Assuming this space is very reverberant you want the highest possible set of mains. That would be TLAH Pro, which would be a lot easier build than three or four DR200 or OTop 12 to get the same height.

Ok, Let me get straight.
A pair of these: Six foot high pro-sound version of TLAH, loaded with 8" drivers
And 1 of these: http://billfitzmaurice.net/THT.html
Tuba HT 36"
Is this correct?

Michael

THT only if you need to go below 30Hz. With music, you don't.

I really want this setup to be for music 1st , the TV is an afterthought at best.
We jam to the music 99.9% of the time.
We also have party's/crawfish boils occasionally.
Probably going to have a superbowl party here.

With that in mind what do ya think?

Thanks again for all the advice, Michael

What about the parts express 3x5 full range driver in the SLA vertically stacked for max height? they run $1.5 in quantity. The tweeter might get expensive, but i do have 200 sitting in my closet
Built:6 t39, t18, 4 Jack10, 2 autotuba, 2 SLA,2 wedge, 2 TT, 2 Tritrix, curved sla, 2 otop212, 2 SLA pros, Ported 8" sub, 2 ported 210, dual ported 8" sub

You'd need 32 of them per side to get TLAH Pro levels. That's a lot of holes to cut and a lot of drivers to wire.

What about LeLand's idea of 2 DR250's and 2 T48's 36" wide?
Or am I looking at 2 T48's 36" wide and 2 TLAH Pro's?

Plenty of output, but controlling early reflections requires vertical pattern control, and it would take three DR250 per side to work as well as one six foot TLAH. Build the subs 36", if it's a permanent install no reason why not.

Any recommendations as to what to put in the Pro TLAH?
Or is it in the plans?
Would you mind emailing me the TLAH plans so I get a head start on ordering the stuff to get this off the ground?

Thanks again for all the support, Michael.

Next I need to talk about amps :)

withdrawn.
