Another newbie with an interesting quest

After listening to a few you-tube videos of performances, I think that you might need to stay away from piezos. If you use any distortion effects, IIRC, piezos don't like it at all. Tim A and Bill should chime in on this, but an O12 or an O15 will be your best choices for a full-range cabinet. If you play a lot of the really low bass, go O15.

+1. No tweeters with distortion. O12 or 15 with a mid driver only.

I think we're converging on the best solution from BFM. I think the O12 TallBoy would be my choice. The next question is, I already own a JBL 2206 12" driver. Would it work in an O12? Their T/S params seem similar enough but I don't anything about the horn design. Here are the T/S of both:

The 2206 is fine, otherwise stick with the plans.
