Hello from Seattle

#1 Post by Retched1 »

Hello all,

I came across this site in my quest for a DIY priced option for a my home theater sub build.
I've bought a few plans (THT and THTLP) but am considering a 15" Simplexx as well.

I simply want to replace my crappy sub I have now (just a basic ported 200 watt 12" sub) with something that will do justice to my 4k projector and 7.1.4 sound setup.
I want to feel the depth charges in The Hunt for Red October...

Build a THT and the neighbors will feel them, at a range of 100 yards. :cussing:

Welcome to the forum!
Build the THT or THTLP if you want, you can lay the THTLP down or stand it up. (Standing up allows for a smaller footprint, and you can decorate it to become a piece of art.)(of course, similar could be said of the THT).

The sub horns are big but the low frequency extension is deep and the efficiency is second to none!!!
