Iv been lurking around here for a while and finally am ready to start my van sound system.
I appreciate all the comments and recommendations Iv received in my first thread.. But Iv got some other questions regarding sound sources mainly.. Where can I ask those questions?

I'm in Iowa City.
Iv got a old peavey CS-800 I'd like to use for my home stereo. Since your close, do you have any speakers for sale which would match the CS-800 well?

Speakers to match a CS800? They'd have to weigh 200 pounds each to be a match.rebar wrote: Iv got a old peavey CS-800 I'd like to use for my home stereo. Since your close, do you have any speakers for sale which would match the CS-800 well?

Seriously.. I don't want to buy new, but I'm not sure why type, size, etc I should be looking for on CL.

Re: Hello from Iowa!
Sorry, I've only built pro sound stuff, and I don't have anything to sell. A CS-800 is a bit of overkill for a home stereo...rebar wrote:

The first two are home stereo speakers. The third one is crap.
The last two are pro sound cabs. So, unless you are planning to go out and do gigs with these - stick to one of the first two.
