Hello from Topeka
Well, I have been reading these forums for probably 5 years, bought plans around 3 years ago and finally registered a little over 2 years ago. Thought maybe I should get around to posting something.
I'm 56, happily married for 27 years and have one daughter who just earned her bachelors degree from Case Western. I retired from my former life of running a small video/film production company . Did corporate staging events on occasion and have good friends who were involved with pro sound and lighting. I helped them out once in a while for fun. My interest is both in speakers/sound in general and having fun learning some woodworking skills that I was never able to do when I was younger. I have started building some small tube amps ( guitar mainly) and enjoy that.
So far, I have built a T-18, a pair of SLAs, a pair of SLA Pros, and a pair of Jack 10s. Construction on the Pros and Jacks is finished, but they are not loaded yet and I am trying to decide on a finish for the Jacks. I am starting a pair of Jack 10 lites for my daughter, so I'll try to start a build thread soon.
I know my place in the world, I'm 145 miles from Speaker Hardware.
I've enjoyed reading and learning from all the good folks here, so thanks for that. I'll try to contribute a little.

Hey Neighbor!
We're few and far between here in the Jayhawker state. My son lives in Lawrence, runs back and forth regularly. Save you some freight.

If it's too loud, you're even older than me! Like me.
