Greetings from Alabama!

#1 Post by Ryan Sober »

Long time lurker; finally decided to pull the trigger and register here on the forum.
I plan to buy the CD and start work on some speakers soon.
Expect lots of questions in a few weeks; I've been doing pro sound for a while, but I have a feeling that building speakers is going to be a whole new ball game.
Thanks in advance, gentlemen.

Of that I have little doubt. I have a barely used radial arm saw just waiting for some BB.

Probably a pair or quad of T39's, followed by some OTops, then some W6's.
I have a decent older Peavey board, a rack full of outboard, and a few amps (GX3, GX5, IPR 3000).

Good plan!! That's what I have, except I have W8's and that's only cuz there were no W6's when I built.

A quick hello from up in Tennessee. Check out The Buck Wild band- they play B'ham a lot. They use 8 T48's for subs.

I've heard of them, but haven't had a chance to see them. Will do so when the opportunity arises.

Sorry for the necropost, but a quick followup:
After some financial mishaps, I finally ordered the CD today.
I plan to spend about 2 months or so prepping for my builds (clearing out the basement, sourcing tools and parts, studying plans, etc.), then it'll be time for the rawk.
Thanks in advance to all the posters on this board; I plan to lean hard on you very soon.
