Hello from Idaho

#1 Post by ecut1 »

Hey everyone,

I just joined the forum this morning. I found the website a few days ago after a pretty extensive search for the best diy home theatre subwoofer. Then after measuring my room and reading some more I decided to go with the table tuba. I wish I had room for the THT but it would just be too much in the room I have and I think the sound would be complete overkill. My room is about 12x30 and the table tuba will be up front almost in the corner with the horn facing the left side wall. The front wall does not allow enough space for the 110" projector screen, tower speakers, and a subwoofer so I can't place it clear up front in the corner. Anyway, I purchased the plans last night and I'll probably start the build next week sometime after I get all my parts together and find some good plywood. Wish me luck!

Erick

I think I remember a few folks from Idaho at one time or another. I lived in the CDA area for 12 years and knew of a source for Baltic birch in the Hayden, Id area but that would be a long haul for you.

I found a place here in Idaho Falls that sells the 5x5 sheets for $38.00. Apparently they're the distributor for all the cabinet shops in town.
