Titan 48 Speakon Connectors

#1 Post by concertaudio »

Hi there, I own 4 x T48's which were built for me by Harley Dear in New Zealand, over a year ago. Superb build too I might add.
I am about to turn em on and burn em in. Here is what I intend to do:

1. Simply connect 2 x T48's to a Crown Xti 2000, in 8 ohm stereo (1 sub cab per channel). I am not linking out from the T48 to the high cabs. Crossover shelving will be delivered by a dbx driverack pa.

Do I need NL4 pole speakon connector leads, or are NL2 pole speakon ok for this application? :feedback:

2 connector are fine. NL4s seem to be more common here in the US, though.

Thanks for clarifying that bzb, appreciate the help. I intend to link and stack cabs later with the 4 x DR-300's Harley also built me, so guess at that stage I will consider NL4's. Thanks again. :D

Bear in mind that NL2 males will fit in NL4 females, but NL4 males will not fit in NL2 females.

No reason not to use NL4 all the way around the first time. Buy once, cry once, as they say.
