Even with a 12 band graphic EQ? It's a Trace Elliot if that matters.Bill Fitzmaurice wrote:That's because filter bandwidths are quite wide; cutting 60 Hz will affect everything from 30 to 120 Hz to some extent.Gregory East wrote:I tried cutting 60 Hz and it makes things Blah imo. .

Even with a 31 band graphic, which may have 1/3 octave centers but the bandwidth affected is about an octave above and below that. For that reason one should avoid extreme settings, which minimizes overlap. Digital filters have considerably less overlap between filters, though, and that's a good reason to go digital when you can.Gregory East wrote:[

Re: T39 size
I originally bought the plans for the Titan 39 and the DR200. I also am building a Omni 15 with the 2X12" for practice and if desired stage pressence during performance. After reading all this I think I am hearing that I would be just fine building two of the 26" T39 with 2X12" and the DR 200 tops which will fit tightly in my trailer with all the other stuff that is carried. I was also thinking of build a second set of DR200s. The first pair with 120 degree dispersion and the second pair with 90 degrees dispersion. This sound like a plan?
BTW Thanks for all the help
