Anyone know a decent source for 16 gauge wire in the UK? Cheers!

1.2 - 1.5 mm2 wire should be available readily.

Audio components and blue aran both sell it.

You can buy from the likes of Maplin and Farnell but they are more expensive. B&Q and screwfix also sell cable at a reasonable price.

Does anybody know where i can find a HP/LP filter for Omnitop 12 like these from Leland:
http://www.speakerhardware.com/prebuilt ... -piezo.php

at a price which is not ridiculous?

Only thing i managed to find was this:
http://www.thomann.de/dk/monacor_dn1218_pax.htm

and this:
http://www.europe-audio.com/Product.asp?Product_ID=7903

BUT THEY COST ABOUT TWICE AS MUCH!!!!!!

It's still cheaper to by the one fom Thomann than ordering the ones from Leland to Denmark... Damn tax system! :horse: :wall:

You cannot get the "crossovers" (they are actually filters) anywhere but speaker hardware, unless you build them yourself. They are specifically designed to enhance Bill's speaker designs.

Have you thought about making your own. It would be cheaper and it is not that difficult to do. plus, if you don't know how to solder, it could be a new learned skill for you that you could use for other things.

Well then it's decided. I will just build them myself :)
I know how to solder, so that isn't gonna be a problem

Just gonna find the parts :noob:

Buy the parts from Leland.....at least check what the pricing and taxes would be. It may be worth it rather than going through the searching for parts and have to get them from multiple places.

6 - T39 3012LF
4 - OT12 2512
1 - T24
1 - SLA Pro
2 - XF210

Postage for 2 crossovers, parts only, would be a usps flat rate box, $27. I don't know about duties.

Yeah, i would like to by the parts from leland, but the duty in Denmark is insane (you know we pay 48% in taxes) so the price will be about 2,5 times the price in the US. So i think i´ll need to look somewhere in DK or Europe :slap:

I would have though that the crossover components are readily available in Europe, just need to find a good local supplier.

Just found these in the Netherlands, ref crossover components - seem reasonable prices - price displayed also included the UK VAT as well - maybe same for other European's who have tax to add....

Yes, especially as Jantzen Audio is a Danish company.

Hello everybody! Im thinking about building me 4 TLAH and was wondering if anyone knows a good place to get the drivers from within the EU as i live in Denmark. If its orders outside of EU i have to pay 50% extra in customs and then pay a lot more for the danish postage service for delivering it. :wall:

Reviving an old thread....

Anyone have any idea about being able to buy cabinent flatpacks for Bill's designs, either ready-made as such or custom cut and shipped?
