Looks no less than factory to my eye. Good job

That's quite a few RU in amplification.

Thanks Seth. Bunch of old iron, all free. 25 bucks to retrofit the case, which I've had for decades. Would be cool to have some new, light amps (don't you have a mess of 8ch ashley's?), but it's kinda fun to see what can be done for minimum $$$. I guess that's what BFM and diy is all about :-)
2xT30 (20", 3012LF)
2xT30 (21", 3012LF)
4xOtop J-array (Beta12, melded/straight piezos)
Truck Tuba (MCM)
Next up: 2xJack12 or family of table tubas

Shoot, you could run your entire system on one 2RU amp... Crown XLS 2502 would do it... but not for free. And free is a pretty good price!

I totally agree, I enjoy achieving great results on smaller/less/fewer/cheaper/lighter solutions than the average solution may be within whatever subject matter we may be talking about. More with less is cool in my book.

Yeah, I've got 4 of those 8 channel amps. I'm really looking forward to running a whole gig on 1 amp, or at least test out how viable it is. By the numbers and charts it should work quite well for small to medium outdoor gigs and any reasonably sized indoor gig. It's 150x8 at 8 Ohms, 250x8 at 4. With 4 channels for monitor mixes (4x WH6's), 4 DR200's on 2 channels, and 4 T39's on 2 channels. The WH6's won't need that much power, the DR's likely won't need it either, and 4 30" wide T39's could certainly take and use more, but on 500 combined watts they should be able to handily outperform what typical 4x18's would do on 2000 combined. So, should be ample. Tiny 6" monitors, tiny 8" mains, tiny 12" subs, and one amp. The thought tickles me.

I've posted this before, but yeah... here's 16 channels of amplification and each channel has tons of DSP options available... crossovers, EQ, Limiters, etc.
