Crossover components

#1 Post by djlivex »

So I just bought separate components from Parts-Express 3 way Omni 12 Tallboy crossover, wanted to save money and do it myself. Any way I bought a copper 16 gauge wire from Michaels Craft store. Can I use this instead of speaker wire to connect components on the crossover board, then 18 gauge speaker wire to speaker drivers? Thanks

What type of wire is it? Stranded copper looking stuff? Can you post a picture of it with an end stripped?

No just a solid 16 gauge single copper wire wound semi soft solid copper thru.

Just routing around to all the crossover components? I don't see a problem with that.
