matching A and B speakers
I have an Onkyo 7.1 receiver that I use for HT in the basement. I can hook up a second pair of mains (B) at the expense of two surrounds (becomes 5.1 plus B). I recently finished the adjacent room with pool table and bar, and utilized the B output for a second set of speakers. I have a few pairs that I have tried in there now, but they all are a bit too loud and bright compared to the HT room. All speakers are 8ohm. Is there an easy way to mellow them out a little? Parts-Express has 100W l-pads that would let me attenuate the volume, but they would probably still have too much treble. Thought some of you electronics gurus might suggest a cheap solution. Thanks

Re: matching A and B speakers
I would expect that the receiver allows for trimming the volume. There's no easy fix for the EQ.

Thanks Bill, found it in the menu and was able to dial back the B speaker volumes. Much appreciated.
