I'm not sure what the ratio would be, but I would just dissolve some crushed rosin into an ounce or two of alcohol until it has the viscosity of corn syrup, or slightly thinner. I use really cheap beginners rosin, which can be had for a few dollars at the most. A block like this will last years unless you do extensive PCB work on a regular basis. Another cheap source is the rosin bags that they sell for baseball players.
