With excellent woodworking assistance from my dad we were able to build a head cab and matching 2x10 slanted speaker cabinet. Both cabinets are 1/4" book-matched figured maple laminated on 1/4" Baltic birch ply. The back of the speaker cab is just dyed solid stock maple. We used the XF 210 guitar cab plans and it worked out really well. Cutting the compound bevels for the speaker frames is not easy, but we got it to come together pretty solid with just a little light sanding. The amp is a BYOC TMB 18W kit that I built as well. It sounds awesome and I look forward to getting to play with it more soon!
Thanks for the great instructions! I love the unique look of the XF cab and love the way it spreads the sound around the room instead of just straight ahead.
