Sorry to Necro this thread....but I used the Eminence APT 80 tweeter. I built this before the plans were updated to spec a different tweeter for bass guitar use.

I guess I should give an update now that it's been a few years. I still use the cabinet. It works great, love the sound. I've never been in a situation where it wasn't loud enough. I ended up selling my Omni12-210 as it just wasn't necessary for the types of gigs I do. I'd say this cabinet is really ideal for upright players and doesn't need any EQ at all to sound great. I realize it doesn't offer the greater sensitivity or dispersion of the horn loaded designs, but the smaller form factor really outweighs those factors for me. If you omit the tweeter and crossover components, this cabinet would be extremely light, but as it is, I can carry both my upright and the cabinet at the same time.
