We've not seen any OmniTop15's built in a while.

How do you like them in comparison to what you've had before?

There used to be (probably is still) a great youtube video with some in.
Built:
6xDR200, 2xT39, 2xT48, 2xJack110, 1xOmni10.5, 1xAutotuba, 1xT18, 1xSLA Pro, 1xW8, 1xW10

Totally destroys the Mackie SA1530Z's we used to use for band practice. The piezo array is a night and day difference compared to the single compression tweet on the mackies (thanks to Leland Crooks)
Im currently building a total of 4 Otops and 4 Tuba 60s 20" wide with lab 12s. Can't wait :fruit: I will post more pics when the cabs get finished.

If I can ask... WHY did you build 15's if you're building 4 tuba 60 ?

I guess they can be used without subs, but that must require a fair bit of eq'ing since the lower end is like 10 db less sensitive than the rest...

Without any eq, how do you find the sound ? Does it sound like the bass is too weak to keep up with the super sensitive midrange ?
Built : 2 x beta8 wedgehorn w/melded array
20'' wide t39 3012lf loaded
still can't decide on tops !

Cause Mackie SA1530Z was not a bad cab, and that review shows how good the Otop is.

Is the bass too weak? For my purposes yes. The tuba 60 is one of the subs that Bill suggests for the Otop 15.

Can't wait for the review... But watch out, you could probably kill somebody with 4 t60s...

What I meant is if you're building subs anyway the omnitop12 could have served you well and it is smaller and lighter, for a similar output.

Lol!
I like that the otop 15 can do an audience of 50+ more people per pair than the 12s which is great if you are using one pair for a 150-200 crowd.
