So I finally put the Autotuba in my car this weekend. Wired it up to a very old Kenwood amp Bridged Mono and let her rip. The max voltage across the terminals was roughly a spike up to 19V but averaging 14V and below. All I can say is wow. My car definitely needs rattle control and in order to keep things in control I brought the LowPass filter to a little over 100hz.
So as a background I am a DJ, love going to raves, love jungle dubstep hip hop etc, you can call me a bass fanatic. I think that 99% of the people out there will be ecstatic with this in their car. I have no reason to ever size up unless I choose to compete, but that's really not my thing.
Also I think this handles Dubstep and Electro more than adequately. I never felt like I was missing a portion of the Bass and the chest thump was very very apparent.
Thanks again Bill your designs are incredible.
