I could easily mix on these and am seriously thinking of building a set for the studio.
This is what I was hoping to hear. I bought a bunch of the Sony's a while back in hopes of using them for my home recording studio. I have a question...did you have to change any of the dimensions to fit the Sony's into the front panel of the speaker?
I did have to make it a bit bigger. The front it 9"x 32.5" and the depth is the same as the plans.

I really only have room for a TAT and a small one at that. I really don't even need a sub as I'm perfectly happy with how it sounds now but I will probably add one at some point. Working on the curved center ATM.

Thanks for the measurement of your front panel. I've been waiting for someone else to build an SLA with the sony's as I have zero building experience. Thanks for being the first.

This sounds really cool..!

I'm also running studio and I'm interested in these..

In a small mix-room, I wonder if a pair of small SLA's(two 6" and 3 tweeters) would be enought.. I've seen ppl build them, would the smaller size affect extension too or only sensitivity?

Would be cool with a TT and a pair of these!

Those are the SLAPro that you have seen half size like that. Response stays the same, where you get a difference is in pattern control and sensitivity.
