Jack 12's

#1 Post by LelandCrooks »

I just finished some Jack 12's with 3012ho's, full melded arrays for a customer. Been a while since I did any cabs, and these are the first Jack 12's configured this way I've done. I fired them up and they make me smile. It's just a very good cab. Very respectable bottom end for a very small box, really smooth sound even without any eq. I can easily see how these can be used as a stand alone solution pa cab.

They're going to a bass player, (bassjam, on here), I'm anxious to hear his comments.
If it's too loud, you're even older than me! Like me.

I built a pair of Jack 12's (same configuration) for a local band.
They have done around 15 shows with them and continue to rave about them.

Are they using it for PA or as a bass rig??

Got the Jacks and played my first gig last night.I want to get a few gigs under my belt and do a full review, but after one night and an afternoon in my living room I can say they sound great.I was a bit concerned that they would not go low enough for what I like but I had no trouble dialing in plenty of bottom end for me.

Special thanks to Leland for building these for me.Build quality is excellent and Leland is just awesome to deal with. Also thanks for being patient with all my questions.Thank you!!

Also thanks to Harley for helping in this too.He was wonderful about answering questions and helping me decide which way to go in this build.

For PA.
They use them stand-alone for smaller gigs and acoustic gigs.
Coupled with (2) T-39's for bigger shows.
