Tuba 30 and Tuba 45 Charts/Comparisons

#1 Post by Bill Fitzmaurice » Tue Jul 11, 2006 1:44 pm

The T30 and T45 have virtually identical response, what differs is the T30 is 30x30 inches on the side, the T45 is 24x45 inches.

Tuba 30 or Titan 39? Here's one of each, S2010 loaded. The T39 is more sensitive above 38Hz, better for live sound. Below 38Hz the T30 rules.

Think you need a 15 in a sub? Think again. A single 16 inch wide T30, loaded with one Eminence BP102 ten, compared to the Mackie WA1501:

A 27" wide Delta 12LF loaded T30 versus the 18 inch loaded Cerwin-Vega L36 that's 30% larger and twice its weight:

Two 45x45x24 inch 334 pound 3x12 BassMaxx X3C 'Trip' versus two 30x30x27 inch 97 pound dual 4012 loaded T30s:
