Titan 39 SPL Charts/Comparisons

#1 Post by Bill Fitzmaurice »

Titan 39 or Tuba 30? Here's both, with a S2010 driver. Titan is better above 38Hz for live-sound, T30 better below 38Hz for recorded.

The Kappalite 3012LF, in narrow and wide T39.

These charts compare the T39 to various commercial and DIY subs. All charts are 1m/2.83v.

The Mackie S218s and a 16" wide T39, 3012LF loaded.

Here are two 30" wide 1x12 T39s and a Lab Sub. The Lab is 26 cubic feet, the two T39s total 26 cubic feet.

For bassplayers who think they know what big bottom is, think again. This is a 30" wide 1x12 T39 and a typical sealed cab 8x10:

T39 loaded with S2010, 14 and 20 inches wide, and the Mackie SWA1501.
