DR250 with 80 Hz tuning, loaded with dual ASD1001 HF compression drivers in a vertical array, on-axis and 45 degrees off-axis.
The DR200 and DR250. The larger DR250 has more bottom, as expected, but also has a stronger midrange. This makes the DR250 the better choice with one or two cabs, unless size is an issue. Response of both flattens as more cabs are stacked. With four cabs or more per side the DR250 advantage is restricted to power handling and low frequency extension only.
The DR250 and the Community iHP 1294, a 1x12/horn PA top with a retail of $1,499
The DR250 and the Mackie SA1521z:
