Oops, I must have looked at an older plan.

Hi all,
Does any here know if the "Kicker 8" CompC 4 Ohm SVC" Driver can be used in the AUTO TUBA?
The only spec off is the Qts (its a bit over the recommended)
Not sure where you live. I searched for a price in the USA for the driver above, and found a number of places selling them for $80.
I went to my admittedly older plans, but the recommended Dayton DCS 205-4 from Parts Express is $50, and within spec.
Just sayin...
Built:
DR 250: x 2 (melded array) with March 2012 plans. 2 more under way with CD horn
T39's: 4 x 20" BP102 , 2 x 28" 3012lf.
WH8: x 3 with melded array.
Bunter's Audio and Lighting "like"s would be most appreciated...

@Grant Bunter
i prefer the Kickers because its more durable brand. i have a L7 12" for 5 years now and still hitting like new.
Plus the 8"compC is cheaper here in Guyana. Rather than me shipping it in from the US.

Plus if the Auto Tuba don't turn out to be what i expect, i could always build the correct/recommended box for the 8".....lol
Contingency plans upon Contingency plans :lol:

Kicker is more hype than practical or useful. The drivers produced by kicker are nothing special. Dayton ultimax drivers are far superior in every way including cost
Advanced concepts underground audio
