Can someone PLEASE send a dual loaded T60 to Data-Bass to compare against all other systems. We are under represented on their site.

Yeah, but I don't go out on my soapbox preaching the greatness of these designs. I let them do the talking.

I think it is a great idea. Why wouldn’t someone want to see thorough test results and have them compared to other designs? I would volunteer some but my location doesn’t really help things.

I have mixed emotions, I like the underground exclusive vibe about these speakers but I also want them to get proper recognition and comparison they deserve!!!

Two things....

Quality assurance and $$$.

In order for any of the tests to hold water, the cabs sent would have to be in perfect working order (built to spec and tested to ensure performance) prior to shipment. Not too many DIY'ers have the gear required to properly qualify their creations.

Once that's confirmed, someone (ie. an independent) would have to foot the bill for the logistics...all for what? Bragging rights?

Those in the know, know that horns have their place in the market, whether commercial offerings (JTR, Danley, JBL, EV, FunktionOne, etc.) or DIY.

Now, if Data-Bass were to agree to compensate a party for surrendering their gear in the name of science and 3rd party marketing....

That's lame. Sounds like the naysayers are just selfish. Bill can easily furnish the cab built correctly. ZOD did it multiple times.
And if the T60 can maul the M.A.U.L, Bill will be well compensated with plenty of CD purchases.

If I was new to this and had something to prove I might consider it. But neither is the case.

Wow, that MAUL's output looks amazing! And it ONLY requires $10,000 worth of drivers and 12,000 watts to do so! (4x the $2,500 T3S2-19).

I wonder what 31 T-60s with their $315 drivers would produce? ($9,765)
(34 of them at $290, if you find a place cheaper than SH/PE.)

Or what 20 T-60s would do with their 12,000 watt requirement? (600W ea)
2 DR250s, 2 27" Lab15 T-60s, 2 30" Neo Titan 39s, 1 Autotuba...and looking for more!

Omitting size (sheer size of the cabinets) from the equation I have never seen a better bang for the buck cost to output ratio with both quality and magnitude that matches here!!!
