Re: Baltic Birch prices 11/21
Bought 4 sheets of 5' x 5' BB today at $65 each. Compared to what I've seen in the last two years I'm pretty happy with that.

Hello, NiteWolf. Your plans should be in the email you received from Bill. It will be a Microsoft Word document. Those will guide you step-by-step.

Re: Slim THTLP
Looking good, Jens. Before you know it you'll be producing gut-rattling bass.
Those warped pieces are no fun. I've only ever built with ACX or BCX so I'm well accustomed to working with warp. By next few builds though will be with BB. I cannot wait!
I'm looking forward to you're review of the THTLP.

Any Interest in a T/S Calculator?
I've been a member of the forum since late 2015 and there have been countless occasions where we ask if a driver is suitable? I've been toying with an excel sheet that breaks out each cabinet and the required specs. A person would enter the T/S specs of the driver they want to use, and the sheet wou...

Re: SLAP Driver Question
Good news. I found some Alpha 6A's on eBay and scooped up 4 of them. I placed an order on Parts Express for mostly everything else, sans the receiver which I got on Amazon. The BB should be in from St. Louis on Friday provided weather doesn't prevent it. I'll do my best to document the build on here...

Thanks, Bill. That's something to consider.Bill Fitzmaurice wrote: ↑Wed Feb 02, 2022 8:49 am Halving xmax reduces maximum SPL by 6dB. That's the same as reducing maximum power by 75%.

SLAP Driver Question
Good morning, I am planning to build 2x shorty SLAP but driver availability is making it a bit tricky. I've found a driver that is within 10% of the specs on the plans except the Vas is a touch high and the Xmax is almost half: Dayton Audio MB620-8 Fs - 104 Hz Qts - .55 Vas - .24 cubic ft/6.796043 L...

Re: Extension Cord / Breakout box
I also have these. I call them "front of stage" and "back of stage" power. They're perfect for the active stage monitors, pedal boards, charging bricks, etc. One of the best things I've built. Love it. Yep, that's what we do too.....but, I also added one of those "plug ever...

There are many Driveracks on eBay now. There's a PX for $199 and a PA2 for $399, just to name two.

Thank Bill. I'll begin looking.Bill Fitzmaurice wrote: ↑Sat Jan 29, 2022 4:27 pm I'd get a standard receiver with sub out, using a plate sub amp for the T39. You can add a Bluetooth receiver to an auxiliary input.

Need help with receiver
I want to build a system for my shop, 24' x 40'. I'm going to build 2x shorty SLA Pro and 2x slim T39, amplifier will be a Behringer NX3000D. If I have to use a small mixer I will. I want a passive receiver (or one that I can turn the amp off) that I can Bluetooth to and has AM/FM. I have no clue ab...
