Par 56 are kind of the standard. I wouldn't go any less, especially outside. I started with smaller and didn't get the effect I wanted until I went to 56's.

I bought 2 drivers and was going to just keep one on hand until I had room to build another THTLP for room mode reasons and when I got a theater going. Upon asking about what would happen if I went wider th...

Re: THT-LP plans question
I found the easiest way was to start with the plans and understand fully and then introduce the sketchup model. In fact most builds I don't even consult the sketch up, which I know is frowned upon, but I haven't needed it yet. (But my head wraps around 3 dimensional objects pretty easily. Probably d...

Let us know how the assembly goes for a dadoed build.
I am also thinking about building like that now with my newly purchased SSRK kit from eurekazone. UPS can't drive fast enough this week...

Too humid here in the midwest. You can't even get it home before it's warped. No kidding... then when you cut it, it's twice as bad. I love working with BB, I just hate the fact that I can't haul it in the back of the truck... have to take the trailer. (no 4x8 around here, all 5x5) Hmmm, the 5x5 sh...
